Ouds by Abdo George Nahhat

Abdo George is perhaps the most famous of all the Nahhats and very prolific. He created beautiful ouds first in partnership with his brother Roufan under the "Ikhwan" label and then on his own under his well-known label of "Atelier de Menuiserie" (Furniture Workshop). His ouds are perhaps the most sought after and represent the high water-mark of the art of oud making. They are simple and elegant without excessive ornametation (with some notable exceptions), but the sound is superb.
